UTAS Faculty of Law
The UTAS Faculty of Law, founded in 1893〔(), retrieved on 2012-10-07.〕 as Australia's fourth law faculty, is the law school of the University of Tasmania. It offers the undergraduate Bachelor of Laws degree, as well as the postgraduate degrees Master of Laws and Doctor of Philosophy. The Faculty is home to the School of Law, the Tasmanian Law Reform Institute, the Centre for Law and Genetics, and the Centre for Legal Studies.

The Faculty was established in 1893 as the Faculty of Law, and has remained largely independent, other than a short period of time in the 1990s when it merged with the then-Faculty of Commerce as the Faculty of Commerce and Law.
